We provide a registered interpreter for your in-person power of attorney application at the Turkish Consulate, Los Angeles.
Here is our step-by-step process after you retain us.
- We review your application package and assist you in completing the required documents. Most applicants prepare their documents in 2-4 days.
- We book an appointment with the Consulate which is usually a few days to a week out. Your appointment time will be between 9 to 11:30 am.
- You meet your interpreter 15 minutes before your appointment in front of the Consulate building. We review your documents and walk into the Consulate offices together with your interpreter.
- You submit your POA application form and present your valid passport or your Turkish ID and 2 photos to the officer. Your interpreter assists you in filling out the application form.
- A consulate officer interviews you in English then prepares your POA text and gives it to you to review. Your interpreter reviews the names, ID information, and addresses on the sample POA with you.
- Your interpreter does a summary translation of your POA. Your interpreter summarizes and explains each paragraph verbally, and you can ask questions. If you want to modify your POA or need clarification, this would be the time.
- You and your interpreter sign the POA and return it to the Consulate officer to sign and seal.
- You pay the POA fee in cash and receive your POA document. The entire application process takes up to 2 hours.
